Shelbi Weis, LMHP
Shelbi Weis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. Prior to working as a full time therapist, Shelbi spent six years working in child welfare and hospital social work, gaining valuable experience supporting individuals and families through complex challenges.
Shelbi specializes in working with older children, teens, young adults, and families impacted by trauma, as well as athletes navigating performance pressure. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and takes an integrative approach to care, incorporating evidence-based practices alongside a strong focus on overall wellness. Her clinical interests include the gut-brain connection and the role of nutrition, exercise, strength training, and mindfulness in supporting mental health. She is continuing to expand her expertise through Integrative Mental Health Care training and is working toward certification as an Integrative Mental Health Practitioner.
Outside of her clinical work, Shelbi enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, traveling to Colorado for mountain adventures, staying active through walking and weightlifting, and cheering on football. She also enjoys learning to golf and spending time with her dogs, Millie and Archie.
